Spam Settings
The Spam section gives you the tools to filter unwanted emails and protect your inbox from malicious content. Use these settings to find the right balance between security and making sure legitimate messages reach you.
Adjust the sensitivity
The system uses a point-based scoring system (typically 1–10) to determine whether a message is spam:
| Setting | Effect |
|---|---|
| Stricter (lower score) | Catches more spam, but increases the risk of flagging legitimate emails. |
| Lenient (higher score) | Reduces the chance of missing real emails, but lets more unwanted messages through. |
Allow / block list
- Whitelist — Make sure trusted senders or domains are never blocked by the filter.
- Blacklist — Permanently block specific email addresses or entire domains.
