DDoS Protection
A DDoS (distributed denial-of-service) attack floods your server with thousands of fake requests, exhausting its bandwidth and resources. The result: legitimate visitors can't reach your site, or only with severe delays. These attacks are typically powered by large networks of compromised computers (botnets).
Our DDoS protection works in three layers:
1. Attack pattern recognition
Instead of just monitoring traffic volume, the system analyses incoming traffic to identify the type of attack — so it can respond with the right countermeasure.
2. Traffic filtering
Once an attack is detected, malicious traffic is routed through scrubbing filters that neutralise common threats such as:
- DNS reflection
- NTP reflection
- UDP floods
Only legitimate traffic reaches your server.
3. Challenge-response & dynamic filtering
For more advanced attacks — like SYN floods, DNS floods, and invalid packets — the system adapts in real time. New and unusual threats are mitigated automatically, without disrupting your real visitors.
