Plugins

The Plugins tab gives you a central overview of all extensions installed on your WordPress site. From here, you can update plugins and manage their activation state — without logging into the WordPress admin area. This is especially useful when a plugin is incompatible, broken, or causing crashes.

Plugin status

Each plugin shows a status badge that tells you its current state:

  • Active — The plugin is running and providing functionality to your site.
  • Inactive — The plugin is installed but not currently in use.

Available actions

  • Activate / Deactivate — Toggle the plugin's functionality on or off.
  • Delete — Permanently remove the plugin files from your site.
  • Enable auto-updates — Automatically update the plugin whenever the developer releases a new version. If a plugin is outdated, a notification will appear letting you know a new version is available.
