Catch-All

A catch-all email address receives all messages sent to non-existent email addresses on your domain. This prevents emails from being rejected when an incorrect or unknown address is used.

For example, if no specific mailboxes exist for info@, sales@, or random@yourdomain.com, all messages sent to those addresses will instead be delivered to your catch-all mailbox.

Functionalities

  • Make sure no emails are missed due to typos
  • Capture messages sent to unknown or temporary addresses
  • Centralise all incoming mail for your domain into a single mailbox

A catch-all mailbox may receive a lot of spam, since it accepts every incoming email. We recommend enabling strict spam filtering when you turn this feature on.
